About Amrut Whisky

Amrut Whisky is well-known for its high quality and premium flavor and is a well-known whisky brand not only in India but also in other nations. In 2010, it was ranked as the third-best whisky in the world. These days, it is sold to every nation in Western Europe, as well as to South Africa, North America, and Australia.

In 1948, a man named JN Radhakrishna Rao Jagdale established the first Amrut Distilleries in Bangalore, Karnataka. However, the primary distillery of today was first built in Kambipura and opened its doors in 1987. The respected founder’s son took over the business after his passing and was appointed managing director.

The greatest processes are employed to prepare Amrut Whisky, which is manufactured using the finest grains. It is produced using barley. The agricultural states of Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan are the main sources of this barley. Some Amrut Whisky varieties employ peated barley that is imported straight from Scotland. The corporation itself owns the well, which is 24 kilometers from the distillery and is situated in an area of land without pesticide use. Overall, Amrut whisky is incredibly smooth, tasty, and has a sweet honey flavor. However, depending on the variation, the flavor varies.
